394. The stability chain anchor point on theappliance is shown below.Pressure testing1. The Rapid injector is used as a pressuretest point.2. Connect the pressure gauge to the Rapidinjector.3. Check the supply pressure by turning theRapid burner on and one other hotplateburner full on and light the appropriateburner. The pressure should be 20mbar4. Turn off the taps, disconnect the pressuregauge.5. Check operation of each hotplate burner.Checking the grill1. Place the grill pan containing the grid, withthe handle attached, into the grillcompartment. Light the grill burner by turningthe grill tap full on and pressing the ignitionbutton on the fascia panel. As soon as theburner is lit the button can be released.Checking the hob1. Lift the lid. Fit the burner crowns and capsensuring that they are correctly seated. Fitthe pan supports.2. Check each of the hob burners in turn byturning the hob tap to its full on position andpressing the ignition button. As soon as theburners are lit the button can be released.Checking the lid shut-off device1. Lift the lid2. Turn one hotplate tap to its full on positionand push the ignition button.3. Close the lid. There should now be no gassupply to the hotplate and the burner will goout.4. Turn off the hotplate and lift the lid. The gassupply should now be restored to thehotplate, when the tap is turned on.Checking the top oven1. Turn the top oven thermostat control knob toMk.1 and press the ignition button. As soonas the burner is alight the button can bereleased.2. When the oven burner lights up there shouldbe a low gas rate at first to the oven burner,which is the F.S.D. bypass rate.3. When the F.S.D. phial has heated up itopens the F.S.D. valve and the main gasstream flows to the burner.4. After 1 minute check that the flame coversthe full width of the burner and is stable.5. Set the oven control to Mk. 2, close the ovendoor and check that after about 10 minutesthe flame size has reduced.6. Turn off the control knob and check that theoven flames go out.
