Clicking Apply/Restart restarts the device anddisconnects all existing connections, including your connection to theWeb interface.If you are making changes to multiple settings, click Apply/Restartafter you make all the changes to restart the device and apply all yourchanges only once.■ Cancel – Click to discard any unsaved changes.■ Logout – Click to log off the Web interface.■ Refresh – Click to update the information on the screen.■ Help – A Help button is available on every screen for quick access tothe online help system. The help system contains additionalinformation about the screens and the tasks that you can perform. Toaccess the online help system, click Help.Timeout Setting The Web interface has a timeout mechanism that automatically logs youoff if it does not detect any activity within five minutes. This mechanismhelps prevent unauthorized users from accessing the Web interface andmodifying the Access Point configuration.Defining SecurityProfilesA security profile contains a service set identifier (SSID) and the wirelesssecurity settings for connections to the Access Point. You can define upto eight security profiles and enable up to four of them simultaneously.Although you can enable four security profiles simultaneously, the AccessPoint will only broadcast one SSID (based on IEEE standards). Wirelessstations will still be able to connect to the other SSIDs, but users need tomanually add these SSIDs to their list of wireless networks.With multiple profiles, you can segregate wireless stations into groupsand assign them different security settings based on the SSIDs to whichthey will be connecting.
