However, you can continue settingup your OCR 812 even if the ADSL Link Status LED is off.Configuring the Workstation and Selecting a ModeThe IP configuration on your Workstation must correspondwith the OCR 812 configuration. The following sectionsdetail your options based on the Boot Mode you select.Using DHCP Smart ModeIf you choose Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)Smart Mode, you need to configure some parameters onyour workstation.1 For DHCP Smart Mode, you must set up all workstations onthe LAN connected to the OCR 812 to automatically obtaintheir IP address.2 If you have configured IP addresses manually on yourworkstation, verify that the IP address is on the192.168.200.0 Class C subnet and that the default routeris 192.168.200.254.Note: See Appendix A for instructions on how to changeor verify that your workstation is configured for automaticassignment of an IP address and correspondingparameters.3 After you have configured your workstation, go to thesection Installing the OfficeConnect Remote 812 Software.Using the Default Bridge ModeWhen the OCR 812 is configured as a bridge, see yourService Provider’s instructions on how to set up theworkstation.
