A speed dial created ormodified in one interface appears in the other interface. A speed dialdeleted in one interface is deleted in the other interface.Configuring PersonalSpeed Dial NumbersYou set up speed dialing through the Telephone User Interface using theProgram button. Refer to the chapter that describes the buttons andcontrols on your telephone for the location of the available speed dialAccess buttons.To configure a speed dial number using the Program button and theSpeed Dial menu:1 Press the Program button.The Main menu appears.2 Press [3] to access the Speed Dial menu.The Display Panel lists the first speed dial:Speed dial 1:If the speed dial is already configured, the Display Panels show theconfigured number, for example:Speed dial 1:1001To locate the speed dial number you want to configure, press thespeed dial number (1 through 9) or use the up and down scrollbuttonsIf you assign a number to a speed dial that does not have acorresponding Access button, you can speed dial the number only byentering the appropriate feature code.3 Press the # button, then enter the number you want to associate with thisspeed dial. Include all prefix numbers that you would normally dial, suchas a 9 or 8 or 1 to access an outside line, and, if necessary, the countrycode or area code.4 To store the number, press the # button.
