Connecting the BDCL filterMake sure that the converter and filter modules, and other components of the DC/DCconverter unit has been installed in a cabinet, in other words, the mechanical installation ofthe unit has been done.Make sure that the filter module is properly grounded.WARNING!Obey the safety instructions of the drive. If you ignore them, injury or death, ordamage to the equipment can occur.If you are not a qualified electrician, do not do installation or maintenance work.1. Stop the drive and do the steps in section Electrical safety precautions (page 60) beforeyou start the work.2. Do the filter module power connections. See Connection diagram (frame1×R8i) (page 63). Connect the filter terminals ES+1, ES+2 and ES+3 together, forexample, using an appropriate kit. See the ordering information.3.
