Three methods areprovided to setup the Print Server for PSfilter printing.• Quickset• Interactive setup• Manual setupQuickset and Interactive Setup execute the proprietary install.sh program which willcompile psfilter.c. Theprint job is redirected though PSfilter to the Print Server. Redirect printing is therecommended print method because jobs are spooled.♦ Direct PrintingHere, PSfilter commands are used to print your job without going through thehost print queue. This method is recommended only for test purposes.
