9-24enclosure Commandsenclosure set temperatureTo set the temperature threshold on a specific SAF-TE enclosuremanagement device, use the enclosure set temperaturecommand. Typically, an enclosure management device containsindividual temperature sensors. With this command, you can set a temperature threshold so thatthe enclosure management device alerts you if one or more of thetemperature sensors exceeds the threshold.Syntaxenclosure set temperature {enclosure} {degree}Parameters{enclosure}Specifies the ID associated with the enclosure managementdevice on which you want to set a temperature threshold. Forthis version, the controller supports a maximum of eightenclosure management devices on each bus.{degree}Specifies the temperature (in degrees Fahrenheit) at whichyou want to set the threshold for this enclosure managementdevice. You can specify from 0 to 255 degrees Fahrenheit. The default is 120 degrees Fahrenheit.ExamplesBefore setting the threshold temperature, you might want to usethe enclosure show temperature command to determine thecurrent temperature(s). As the following example shows, thecurrent temperature is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and the thresholdsetting is 120 degrees Fahrenheit:Enclosure Sensor Temperature Threshold Status--------- ------ ----------- --------- --------0 0 70 F 120 NORMALThe following example sets the threshold temperature associatedwith enclosure management device 0 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit:AAC0>enclosure set temperature 0 100Executing: enclosure set temperature 0 100
