V6.230 2013101787send the indication. FREQ can be mapped into programmable logic. FREQstays picked-up until it is cleared by resetting the targets.5.2.12 Offtap, Raise and Lower InputsThe number of the input used to connect to the Off-Tap Switch in themechanism. Settings 54 through 56 define OFFTAP, RAISE, and LOWER inputsfor driving the TPM. These inputs must be set as LEVEL for proper TPMoperation. OFFTAP input signals the TPM to change its position (execute a raiseor lower operation). OFFTAP input must always be defined for proper TPMoperation. RAISE and LOWER inputs specify the direction TPM will move uponsuccessful operation of OFFTAP input. Only one of them (RAISE or LOWER)must be preset before the OFFTAP input is activated in order to move the TPMup or down into proper direction. As stated above, It is possible to configure the TPM to operate by using only twodigital inputs. In that case specify one input for OFFTAP and another input foreither RAISE or LOWER. For example, if you specify only the RAISE input, at thetime of the OFFTAP input activating TPM will check the state of the RAISE input. If RAISE is activated TPM will execute a raise operation and if RAISE is inactiveTPM will execute a lower operation instead. The same thing can be done withspecifying the LOWER contact. In that case the RAISE will be opposite ofLOWER.5.2.13 Upper Limit InputNumber of the input connected to the Upper Limit Switch in the mechanism. Thisresets the count in the TTC-1000 to the programmed upper limit, should the limitswitch close.5.2.14 Lower Limit InputNumber of the input connected to the Lower Limit Switch in the mechanism. Thisresets the count in the TTC-1000 to the programmed lower limit, should the limitswitch close.5.2.15 Reset InputNumber of the input connected to the neutral switch in the mechanism. Thisinput will reset the count of the TTC-1000 to neutral whenever the mechanismactually passes through neutral, should the count be in error.5.2.16 Input ContactsThis setting is to configure the inputs for either normally open or normally closedoperation. All the inputs have this setting.
