Appendix G: IPDS Fonts AXIS 570/670 User’s Manual240IBM Mainframe IBM AS/400 Printer Resident FontsThe rest of this section deals with printer resident fonts. The table inSupported Resident Fonts, on page 242, lists all IBM fonts that arerecognized by the AXIS 570/670, and the corresponding PostScriptprinter fonts. The non-standard PostScript fonts are resident in the AXIS570/670 (OCR-B is one example), so you do not need font cards etc. touse the listed fonts.In IPDS mode, printer resident fonts can be selected by the systemreferring to the FGID (Font Global IDentifier) and FW (Font Width).AXIS 570/670 supports a large set of resident fonts.Note: o (IBM Mainframe only) For PSF systems, resident fonts need to bemapped to the host font name and code page. In PSF/MVS, this isdone using the APSRMARK utility and in PSF/VM using theAPRFTBLV (RSCS) or APRFTIDB files. For more information,refer to the PSF/MVS and PSF/VM manuals.The FGIDs are grouped according to the following table:FGID (hex) FGID (dec) TYPE0001 - 0041 1 -65 10 CPI0042 - 0099 66 - 153 12 CPI009A - 00C8 154 - 200 Proportional PSM00C9 - 00D2 201 - 210 13 CPI00D3 - 00EF 208 - 239 15 CPI00F0 - 00F7 240 - 247 5 CPI00F8 - 0103 248 - 259 17 CPI0104 - 0111 260 - 273 8 CPI0112 - 0117 274 - 279 17 CPI0118 - 011B 280 - 283 20 CPI011C - 0120 284 - 288 25 CPI0121 - 012B 289 - 299 27 CPI012C - 01FF 300 - 511 10 CPI
