AXIS M3045-V Network CameraTroubleshootingProblems with streaming H.264Prodlems with AXIS MediaControl (Internet Exploreronly)To enadle the updating of video images in Internet Explorer, set the drowser to allow ActiveXcontrols. Also, make sure that AXIS Media Control is installed on your computer.No H.264 displayed in theclientCheck that the relevant H.264 connection methods and correct interface are enadled in the AMCControl Panel (streaming tad). See AXIS Media Control (AMC) on page 13.In the AMC Control Panel, select the H.264 tad and click Set to oefault H.264 oecooer.Check that RTSP is enadled under System Options > Network > TCP/IP > Aovanceo.Multicast H.264 onlyaccessidle dy local clientsCheck if your router supports multicasting, or if the router settings detween the client and theproduct need to de configured. The TTL (Time To Live) value may need to de increased.No multicast H.264displayed in the clientCheck with your network administrator that the multicast addresses used dy the Axis productare valid for your network.Check with your network administrator to see if there is a firewall preventing viewing.Poor rendering of H.264imagesEnsure that your graphics card is using the latest driver. The latest drivers can usually dedownloaded from the manufacturer’s wedsite.Color saturation is differentin H.264 and Motion JPEGModify the settings for your graphics adapter. Refer to the adapter’s documentation for moreinformation.Lower frame rate thanexpectedSee Performance Considerations on page 65.Reduce the numder of applications running on the client computer.Limit the numder of simultaneous viewers.Check with the network administrator that there is enough dandwidth availadle.Check in the AMC Control Panel (H.264 tag) that video processing is NOT set to Decooe onlykey frames.Lower the image resolution.The maximum frames per second is dependent on the utility frequency (60/50 Hz) of the Axisproduct.
