Physical Interface AW0012340900092 Basler ace USB 3.05.11.2 Input Line DebouncersThe Line Debouncer feature aids in discriminating between valid and invalid input signals and onlylets valid signals pass to the camera. The parameter value specifies the minimum time that an inputsignal must remain high or remain low in order to be considered a valid input signal.Note that the line debouncer delays a valid signal between its arrival at the camera and its transfer. The duration of the delay will be determined by the debouncer value.Figure 48 illustrates how the line debouncer filters out invalid input signals, i.e. signals that areshorter than the parameter value. The diagram also illustrates how the line debouncer delays a validsignal. We recommend setting the parameter value so that it is slightly greater than thelongest expected duration of an invalid signal.Setting the parameter value to a value that is too short will result in acceptinginvalid signals. Setting the parameter value to a value that is too long will result inrejecting valid signals.Fig. 48: Filtering of Input Signals by the Line DebouncerUnfiltered arriving signalsDebouncerTransferred valid signaldelayTiming charts are not drawn to scaledebouncervalue
