CASMED 740 MONITOR SERVICE MANUAL21-02-0174 REV. 02 05/0895REPLACING THE NIBP MODULEThe NIBP Module is part of the Front Case Assembly.Removal1) Complete the steps in Prior to Disassembly and Monitor Disassembly.2) Disconnect the NIBP hose from the NIBP connector located on the side panel. Note thelocation of the hose from the connector to the board.3) Remove the three (3) screws that secure the NIBP Module.4) Separate the NIBP Module from the J4 connector located on the Main Control board.Figure 16: Replacing the NIBP ModuleInstallation1) Align the female connector on the NIBP Module with the J4 connector on the MainControl board. Gently push the NIBP Module onto the connector pins.2) Secure the board to the standoffs using the Loctite adhesive and the hardwarepreviously removed. Apply a small amount of the adhesive to the threads of the screwsand torque to 30 in.-oz.3) Re-route the hose under the board and connect it to the NIBP connector on the sidepanel.4) Finish assembling the monitor by following the steps in section Monitor Assembly.
