This fieldtoggles between ENABLED and DISABLED. To change the setting of the COM2 port refer toSection 2.30.2.Application (Selectable)Displays the current application assigned to the COM2 port. This field contains the followingoptions:• SLIP• PPP• UPS• LMFor instructions on how to change the COM2 application, refer to Section 2.30.3.Reboot EM and Download New Image into Flash Memory? (Toggle)This command allows the user to, if desired, force the environmental module to download anew image to Flash memory, once the environmental module is reset. For instructions on howto perform this procedure refer to Section 2.30.4.2.30.1 Setting the Fan SpeedsTo change the setting of the Fan Speeds field, perform the following steps:1. Use the arrow keys to highlight the Fan Speeds field.2. Press the SPACE bar to step through the available options until the desired configurationdisplays.3. Use the arrow keys to highlight the SAVE command at the bottom of the screen and pressENTER. The fans begin operating at the new setting.2.30.2 Enabling/Disabling COM1 and COM2To change the setting of the COM ports, perform the following steps:1. Use the arrow keys to highlight the COM1 or COM2 field.2. Press the SPACE bar to toggle between ENABLED and DISABLED until the desiredmode displays.NOTE If you select SLIP or PPP in the COM2 Application field, a Baud Rate field appearson the screen with a default value of 9600. The baud rates available are 2400, 4800,9600, and 19,200. Use the Space Bar to toggle to the desired baud rate.
