This setting determines how frequently (inseconds) information is updated on the screen. To enter a new update time, refer toSection 2.6.4.SAVE (Command)Saves all changes to memory.2.6.1 Setting the IP AddressTo set the IP address, perform the following steps:1. Use the arrow keys to highlight the desired IP Address field.2. Enter the IP address into this field using Decimal Dotted Notation (DDN) format.For example: 134.141.79.1203. Press ENTER. If the IP address is a valid format, the cursor returns to the beginning of theIP address field. If the entry is not valid, the Event Message Line displays “INVALID IPADDRESS OR FORMAT ENTERED”. Local Management does not alter the currentvalue and refreshes the IP address field with the previous value.4. Use the arrow keys to highlight the SAVE command, then press ENTER. The “SAVEDOK” message displays indicating that the changes have been saved to memory.NOTE The following instructions describe how to set the In-Band IP Address, the SMB-10IP Address, and the Out-Of-Band IP Address.TIPSection 2.6.1 through Section 2.6.4 provide instructions on configuring settings forthe SmartSwitch 9500.
