Using the TSX-1620 Hub View2-12Monitoring Device Performance- Out shows the percentage of packets that were discarded by the port(determined by the port’s MIB-II ifOutErrors value) during the lastpolling interval due to hardware transmission errors. This percentagereflects the packets discarded compared to the total number of packetsdetected at the port:ifOutErrors/(ifInUcastPkts+ifOutUcastPkts+ifInNUcastPkts+ifOutNUcastPkts).• Non-Unicast (Nucast) shows the percentage of packets transmitted orreceived by the port during the last polling interval that were multicastpackets.- Total shows the percentage of packets transmitted or received by the portduring the last polling interval that were multicast packets. Thispercentage reflects the multicast packets detected (determined by addingthe port’s MIB-II ifInNUcastPkts and ifOutNUcastPkts values) comparedto the total number of packets detected at the port: (ifInNUcastPkts+ifOutNUcastPkts)/(ifInUcastPkts+ifOutUcastPkts+ifInNUcastPkts+ifOutNUcastPkts).- In shows the percentage of packets received by the port during the lastpolling interval that were multicast packets. This percentage reflects themulticast packets detected (determined by the port’s MIB-IIifInNUcastPkts value) compared to the total number of packets detectedat the port:ifInNUcastPkts/(ifInUcastPkts+ifOutUcastPkts+ifInNUcastPkts+ifOutNUcastPkts).- Out shows the percentage of packets transmitted by the port during thelast polling interval that were multicast packets. This percentage reflectsthe multicast packets detected (determined by the port’s MIB-IIifOutNUcastPkts value) compared to the total number of packetsdetected at the port:ifOutNUcastPkts/(ifInUcastPkts+ifOutUcastPkts+ifInNUcastPkts+ifOutNUcastPkts).Port Color Codes for the Interface Application DisplayFor each port display form, the color-coding of each interface reflects acombination of MIB-II interface operational status (ifOperStatus), administrativestatus (ifAdminStatus), and the interface’s physical link status (if it applies).Green On — The interface’s operational status is returned as “UP” —and it has been administratively enabled; if the interfacesupports link state, a physical link has been detected at the port.NOTEFor the statistical port display form options listed above, three dashes (---) will display forall inactive ports; any active (green) port will display a numeric value, even if it’s 0 (zero).
