The vehicle will runin 2WD. This could be caused by:. An electronics problem. An AWD system oil overheat. Worn out or overheated clutchplates. Various electrical issuesIf this message appears, stop assoon as possible and turn off theignition for 30 seconds. Restart thevehicle and check for the messageon the DIC display. If the messagestill displays or appears again whenyou begin driving, the system needsservice. See your dealer right away.SERVICE POWER STEERINGThis message displays if a problemis detected with the speed variableassist steering system. When thismessage is displayed, you maynotice that the effort required tosteer the vehicle increases or feelsheavier, but you will still be able tosteer the vehicle. See Steering onpage 9‑4.SERVICE STABILITRAKThis message displays if there hasbeen a problem detected with theStabiliTrak® system. The TCS/StabiliTrak warning light on theinstrument cluster also comes on.If this message comes on while youare driving, pull off the road as soonas possible and stop carefully. Tryresetting the system by turning theignition off then back on. If thismessage still stays on or comesback on again while you are driving,the vehicle needs service. Have theStabiliTrak system inspected byyour dealer as soon as possible.See StabiliTrak ® System onpage 9‑37.SERVICE SUSPENSIONSYSTEMThis message displays whenthere is a problem with theMagnetic Ride Control system.See Magnetic Ride Control onpage 9‑38. Have the vehicleserviced by your dealer.SERVICE TRACTIONCONTROLThis message displays when thereis a problem with the TractionControl System (TCS). The TCS/StabiliTrak warning light on theinstrument cluster also comes on.When this message displays, thesystem will not limit wheel spin.Adjust your driving accordingly. Seeyour dealer for service.
