RDSis available for use only on FMstations that broadcast RDSinformation. This system relies uponreceiving specific information fromthese stations and only works whenthe information is available. Whilethe radio is tuned to an FM-RDSstation, the station name or callletters display. In rare cases, a radiostation can broadcast incorrectinformation that causes the radiofeatures to work improperly. If thishappens, contact the radio station.Selecting a StationSeek TuningIf the radio station is not known:Briefly press ¨ SEEK or © SEEK.The radio will search for the nextreceivable station. If the radiodoes not find a station, it switchesautomatically to a more sensitivesearch level. If it still does not find astation, the frequency that was lastactive begins to play and “NoneFound” displays.If the radio station is known:Press and hold ¨ SEEK or © SEEKuntil the desired station on thepop‐up frequency display is almostreached, then release the button.Manual TuningTurn the TUNE knob to select thefrequency on the pop‐up display.Station ListTurn the MENU/SELECT knob todisplay the station list. To create alist of available stations, select“Refresh AM Station List” or“Refresh FM Station List”,depending on which band isbeing used.In FM, RDS information may beutilized to categorize the stations bygenre.In both AM and FM, the stations arearranged in frequency order.Storing a Radio Station as aFavoriteDrivers are encouraged to set uptheir radio station favorites while thevehicle is stopped.
