For an additional10 minutes of operation, close allthe doors and turn the key toON/RUN and then back toLOCK/OFF.Engine Coolant HeaterVehicles with the engine coolantheater can use this option incold weather conditions at orbelow −18°C (0°F) for easierstarting and better fuel economyduring engine warm-up. Plug in thecoolant heater at least four hoursbefore starting your vehicle. Aninternal thermostat in the plug-endof the cord may exist which willprevent engine coolant heateroperation at temperaturesabove −18°C (0°F).To Use the Engine CoolantHeater1. Turn off the engine.2. Open the hood and unwrapthe electrical cord. The cord islocated near the driver side struttower.Remove the plastic cap toaccess the plug.3.
