Use the brake to get to thedesired lower speed. PressSET– down and release theaccelerator pedal. The vehiclewill now cruise at the lowerspeed.. Press and hold SET− down untilthe desired lower speed isreached, then release it.. To decrease the vehicle speed insmaller increments, press SET−down briefly. For each press, thevehicle goes to the next 1 km/h(1 mph) slower mark on thespeedometer.The speedometer reading can bedisplayed in either English or metricunits. See Instrument Cluster 0 119.The increment value used dependson the units displayed.Selecting the Follow DistanceWhen a slower moving vehicle isdetected ahead within the selectedfollowing gap, ACC will adjust thevehicle's speed and attempt tomaintain the follow distance gapselected.Press [ on the steering wheel toadjust the following gap. Whenpressed, the current gap settingdisplays briefly on the instrumentcluster. Subsequent presses cyclethe gap button through threesettings: Far, Medium, or Near.When pressed, the current gapsetting displays briefly on theinstrument cluster. The gap settingwill be maintained until it ischanged.Since each gap setting correspondsto a following time (Far, Medium,or Near), the following distance willvary based on vehicle speed.
