On the infotainment system,press the Settings screenbutton, or turn the MENU knobto highlight Settings andpress MENU.2. Select Rear Camera.3. Press Rear Camera Display,Park Assist Symbols, GuidanceLines, or Rear Cross Traffic Alertand then select OFF or ON.Automatic ParkingAssist (APA)If equipped, Automatic ParkingAssist (APA) searches for andsteers the vehicle into parallelparking spots. When using APA,you must still shift gears, andcontrol the brakes and accelerator.The Driver information Center (DIC)and audible beeps help to guideparking maneuvers.{ WarningAPA does not apply the brakes.APA may not detect objects in theparking space, objects that aresoft or narrow, objects high off theground such as flatbed trucks,or objects below ground levelsuch as large potholes. Alwaysverify that the parking space isappropriate for parking a vehicle.APA does not respond to changesin the parking space, such asmovement of an adjacent vehicle,or a person or object entering theparking space. APA does notdetect or avoid traffic that isbehind or alongside of thevehicle.
