The drivermemory buttons also store outsidemirror and power tilt and telescopingsteering column positions.Storing Memory PositionsTo save positions to the “1” and “2”buttons:1. Adjust the driver or passengerseat to the desired position.If storing a driver position, alsoadjust the outside mirrors andthe power tilt and telescopingsteering column2. Press and release SET, thenimmediately press and hold “1”until a beep sounds.3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for asecond driver using “2.”To save positions to the B (Exit)button and easy exit features:1. Adjust the driver or passengerseat to the desired position forgetting out of the vehicle.If storing a driver exit position,also adjust the power tilt andtelescoping steering column andthe outside mirrors on somevehicles.2. Press and release SET, thenimmediately press and hold Buntil a beep sounds.Manually Recalling MemoryPositionsIf the vehicle is off, or in ON/RUN/START but not in P (Park), pressand hold "1," "2," or B to manuallyrecall the previously stored memorypositions. Releasing "1,” "2," or Bbefore the stored positions arereached stops the recall.If the vehicle is in ON/RUN/STARTand in P (Park), press and release“1,” “2,” or B to manually recall thepreviously stored memory positions.Placing the ignition in OFF/LOCKbefore the stored positions arereached stops the recall.If something has blocked the seatand/or power tilt and telescopingsteering column while recalling amemory position, the recall maystop. Remove the obstruction; thenpress and hold the appropriatemanual control for the memory item
