Adjusting the Tension of the Scanner Drive CableIf you have replaced the scanner drive cable, be sure to perform the following toadjust the tension:1) Remove the five mounting screws, and remove the upper left cover.2) Loosen the fixing screw on the tension spring bracket.3) Turn the tension adjusting screw until the value is as follows:• Turn the tension adjusting screw A so that the reading of the spring gauge is 200±50 g when the scanner cable is pulled about 10 mm at the center.Figure 3-5116.
