The displaywill change to show PASSWORD=XXXXXXXXXXXX. Note that XXXXXXXXXXXX is thecurrent password if a password was previously entered, otherwise only PASSWORD= willbe displayed.If the setting displayed is acceptable, proceed to the next setup parameter. Otherwise,using the alphanumeric keys, enter up to 12 characters for the password and then press theENTER key to save the new setting and return to the SETUP MENU #3.2XX– OPTION CARDS4. 2XX- (2XX OPTION CARD)This prompt will ONLY be displayed when a 2XX Option Card is installed in the indicator.Refer to the manual for the 2XX option card installed for setup instructions.PASSWORD OPERATIONWith a PASSWORD set, anytime the operator tries to enter Calibration and Setup, thedisplay will show the PASSWORD= prompt requiring the operator to enter the correctpassword. If the wrong password is entered, the indicator displays ERROR momentarily andreturns to the weight mode. Note that the password is not shown on the display when theoperator is entering it.NOTE: It is recommended to write the password down and store it in a securelocation. If the password is forgotten or lost and a change to the indicator setup isrequired, the indicator must be reprogrammed. WARNING! Reprogramming theindicator will ERASE ALL the contents of the Nov-Ram and memory.
