ES601-US OPERATING MANUALES601pc-US Software/Chapter 8 # Page 192Figure 1418.12.2 Importing a MUP File from ES601-USThe CMMS Interface allows test results from the ES601-US analyzer to be brought into the CMMSprogram, by converting the results into a medTester-style "MUP" file. The CMMS can then read this"MUP" file into its Work Order system. To begin the import process, click the "Import ES601 MUP File" button of the CMMS Interface. Thecommunications selector will appear. After choosing a communications method, a "Save File" dialog willappear. Select the directory and filename for the "MUP" file produced by the CMMS Interface. The defaultdirectory is the directory specified in the textbox on the dialog, and the default filename will follow themedTester's naming convention of month, day, hour, and minutes (each specified as 2-digit numbers),followed by a ".MUP" file extension (e.g.: 02171432.MUP, corresponding to Feb. 17, 14:32).After selecting the default or entering an alternative name for the exported file, the plugin will then begin todownload Test Report data from the ES601-US. The test results will then be converted into medTester"MUP" format, and will be saved to the folder specified on the dialog.Once the "MUP" file has been generated by the CMMS Interface, you may then read this file into theCMMS in exactly the same way as if the file had been produced by a medTester. For example, to import a"MUP" file in Sentinel32, select "medTester Serial Interface" from the main menu of the program. Click the"Receive Data" tab, then click the button marked "Update Sentinel From Existing medTester File".Sentinel32 will display an "Open File" dialog from which you can select the "MUP" file created by theCMMS Interface plugin.
