The ground must be flat and level.● Outdoor installation is not permitted.● Erection in explosion-risk environments isnot permitted.● The DAIKIN EKHHP must only be set up innon-hermetically closed rooms.● The electronic control system must not besubjected to atmospheric factors under anycircumstances.● The storage tank must not be exposed tocontinuous direct sunlight, as the UVradiation and the effects of the weather willdamage the plastic.● The DAIKIN EKHHP must be installed in amanner protected from frost.● Make sure that the supply company doesnot provide corrosive domestic water.– Suitable water treatment may berequired.WARNING!The plastic wall of the storage tank of theDAIKIN EKHHP can melt under the effects ofexternal heat 80 °C) and, in the extreme case, can catch fire.● Erect the DAIKIN EKHHP only at a minimumdistance of 1 m to other heat sources(>80 °C) (e.g. electric heater, gas heater, chimney) and flammable materials.CAUTION!If the DAIKIN EKHHP is not erected ade-quately lower the flat solar panels (the topedge of the of the storage tank is higher than thebottom edge of the solar panels), the unpres-surised solar system in the outdoor area will beunable to drain completely.● Erect the DAIKIN EKHHP with a DrainBacksolar connection at a sufficient depth to theflat solar panels (observe the minimumgradient in the solar connecting lines).A HandleB Cover screenF Threaded pieceFig. 4-2 Attach handles
