Ensure that the locking tab on the connectoris released before removal and insertion. The locking tab must be engaged after insertion.NOTE: To prevent damage to the LCD display module cable, do not bend the control panel flex cable after it is inserted into theconnector.1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.2 Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.Steps1 Disconnect the USB cable, control panel cable, and the LCD display module cable from the control panel board.2 Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the two screws that secure the control panel board to the chassis.3 Slide the control panel board toward the back and lift it out of the system.Figure 81.
