CAUTION: Do not attempt to remove the TPM plug-in module from the system board. After the TPM plug-in module isinstalled, it is cryptographically bound to that specific system board. Any attempt to remove an installed TPM plug-inmodule breaks the cryptographic binding, and it cannot be re-installed or installed on another system board.1. Remove the following components:a. cooling shroudb. memory modulesc. cooling fand. expansion cardse. heat sink and processorf. iDRAC port card, if installedg. internal dual SD module, if installedSteps1. Disconnect all cables from the system board.CAUTION: Take care not to damage the system identification button while removing the system board from thechassis.2. Remove the screws on the system board, and slide the system board toward the front of the chassis.3. Hold the system board by the touch points and lift it out of the chassis.CAUTION: To prevent damage to the system board, do not lift the system board by holding a memory module,processor, or other components; hold the system board by its edges only.Figure 90.
