INITIALIZE ELEMENT STATUS WITH RANGE (37h)The INITIALIZE ELEMENT STATUS WITH RANGE command shall cause the media changer to check thespecified elements for volume status and any other relevant status. A Range bit of one indicates that theseries of elements beginning at the specified Starting Element Address for the specified Number ofElements shall be checked. If the Number of Elements field is zero, the range checked shall startwith the Starting Element Address and continue through the last element address on the unit.Fast: A Fast bit of one indicates that the specified elements shall be scanned for media presence only. AFast bit of zero indicates that the specified elements shall be scanned for all relevant status.Element Address:When the Range bit is set this field specifies the starting element address of the scan for theInitialize Elements with Range command. When the Range bit is not set the information in thisfield is ignored.Number of Elements:When the Range bit is set this field specifies the number of elements to scan during the InitializeElements with Range command.
