Enter libraryinformation (such as serial numbers, types of drives, etc.) and configurationsettings on the Library Configuration Form and store in a safe location for futurereference. Be sure to update this form any time changes are made to your libraryhardware or configuration.Choosing a LocationChoose a location that meets the following criteria:Table 4-1. Location criteriaCriteria DefinitionRoom temperature 10° - 35° C (50° - 95° F )Power source v AC power voltage: 100-127 VAC; 200-240 VAC (4 - 2 A)Note: The 4U library requires two separate power sources to implement redundantpower.v Line frequency: 50-60 HzPlace the library near an AC outlet. The AC power cord is the product’s main ACdisconnect device and must be easily accessible at all times.Air quality The library should be placed in an area with minimal sources of particulate contamination.Avoid areas near frequently used doors and walkways, stacks of supplies that collect dust,printers, and smoke-filled rooms. Excessive dust and debris can damage tapes and tapedrives.Humidity 15-80 % RH non-condensing4-1
