614-40096-00 131.2.3.3.3 Connecting the internal batteryA small amount of arcing may occur whenconnecting the internal batteries. This is normal and willnot harm personnel. Connect the cables quickly andfirmly.Remove the front panel by pressing on both sides ofthe panel.Connect the two battery connectors together.Replace the front panel.3.4 EBM connectionTour installationA small amount of arcing may occur whenconnecting an EBM to the UPS. This is normal and willnot harm personnel. Insert the EBM cable into the UPSbattery connector quickly and firmly.1. Attach the UPS and the EBMs to each other using thesupplied mounting plate. Up to 4 EBMs may beconnected to the UPS.2. Connect the EBMs power cable and the attachedbattery detection cable as shown in the picture.3. Verify that the EBM connections are tight and thatadequate bend radius and strain relief exist for eachcable.
