Correct the alarms and restart if necessary.6. Verify that the indicator illuminates solid, indicating that theUPS is operating normally and any loads are powered.The UPS should be in Normal mode.7. Press the ESC button until the start screen appears.Starting the UPS on BatteryNOTE Before using this feature, the UPS must have been powered by utility power withoutput enabled at least once.NOTE Battery start can be disabled. See the “Start on Battery” setting in “User Settings”on page 40.To start the UPS on battery:1. Press the button on the UPS front panel until the UPS front paneldisplay illuminates and shows a status of “UPS starting...”.The UPS cycles through Standby mode to Battery mode. Theindicator illuminates solid. The UPS supplies power to yourequipment.2.
