All data gathered from the unit,current and historical, is analyzed at the Customer Reliability Center (CRC) fortrending issues. A set of factors, or rules, compared against your UPS's data canindicate a potential impending failure and trigger an appropriate anomalynotification to a CRC Analyst. Critical events are checked for additional anomalies.Through this service, the CRC can take pre-emptive, corrective action to ensurethe highest level of availability of your Power Xpert 9395 UPS. The Customer Monitoring Report delivers information about Eaton's analysis ofyour Power Xpert 9395 UPS on a monthly basis. Depending on the model, thereport provides detailed information about voltages, loads, external factors such astemperature and humidity, the attached batteries, and system availability. All ofthese factors contribute to the Relative Health Index (RHI) score that allows you tocompare your unit's health relative to Eaton's optimum UPS operating levels.8.2.2 Installing eNotify ServiceA quick start guide and self-installation wizard tool are available on the Web atwww.eaton.com/enotify/. For installation support or questionsabout the eNotify Service, contact www.eaton.com/enotify/.The eNotify Service relies on a Power Xpert Gateway card installed with the UPSsending one-way status and event e-mails to Eaton Remote Monitoring servers thatanalyze and store the data. Those servers also take the appropriate actions of sendingnotifications and reports. The PXGX Connectivity Card gathers information from theUPS directly and from any external sensors that are attached. The card also records allevents that are generated by the UPS. This data is stored within the non-volatilememory logs on the PXGX Connectivity Card.The eNotify Service runs on common protocols and transport mechanisms, makingthe connectivity between the Power Xpert 9395 UPS and the Eaton RemoteMonitoring servers easy to set up. By using common e-mail transport mechanism,you do not have to open your network to proprietary or potentially unsecure protocolsand transports.
