When thedisplay shows ⊃ the oven isbaking/roasting.⊃www.GEAppliances.caHow to Set for Timed Baking/Roasting—Immediate Start and Automatic StopMake sure the clock shows the correct time ofday and the oven is off.Touch and hold both the BROIL andBAKE pads, at the same time, until thedisplay shows SF.NOTE: If bake or broil appears in thedisplay, the BROIL and BAKE pads werenot touched at the same time. Touch theOFF pad and begin again.Tap the START TIME pad untilSAb bAtH appears in the display.Touch the START pad and ⊃ willappear in the display.Touch the COOK TIME pad.Touch the number pads to set thedesired length of cooking timebetween 1 minute and 9 hours and99 minutes. The cooking time thatyou entered will be displayed.Touch the START pad.Touch the BAKE pad. No signal willbe given.Using the number pads, enter thedesired temperature. No signal ortemperature will be given.Touch the START pad.After a random delay period ofapproximately 30 seconds to 1minute, ⊃ will appear in thedisplay indicating that the oven isbaking/roasting. If ⊃ doesn’tappear in the display, start again atStep 7.To adjust the oven temperature, touchthe BAKE pad, enter the new temperatureusing the number pads and touch theSTART pad.When cooking is finished, the displaywill change from ⊃ to ⊃ and 0:00will appear, indicating that the ovenhas turned OFF but is still set in Sabbath.Remove the cooked food.⊃⊃⊃How to Exit the Sabbath FeatureTouch the OFF pad.If the oven is cooking, wait fora random delay period ofapproximately 30 seconds to1 minute, until only ⊃ is in thedisplay.Touch and hold both the BROIL andBAKE pads, at the same time, until thedisplay shows SF.Tap the START TIME pad until12 shdn or no shdn appears in thedisplay.Choose 12 shdn, indicating that theoven will automatically turn off after12 hours or no shdn, indicating thatthe oven will not automatically turnoff after 12 hours.Press START when the option thatyou want is in the display (12 shdn orno shdn).NOTE: If a power outage occurred while the ovenwas in Sabbath, the oven will automatically turnoff and stay off even when the power returns.The oven control must be reset.
