MaintenanceRemoving the Display AssemblyUse the following procedure to remove the display assembly.1. Before beginning any steps, follow the instructions in “Preparing the System forFRU Replacement” on page 73.2. Remove the top cover assembly.See “Removing the Top Cover Assembly” on page 75 for instructions.3. Turn over the top cover assembly and remove the six fasteners shown in thefollowing photograph.4. Turn over the top cover assembly, slide the display assembly toward the front ofthe top cover assembly, and lift the display assembly, as shown in the followingphotograph.NOTE:Carefully guide the display cable and keypad ribbon out of the slots on thetop cover.5.
