After cleaning,rinse the shelves and rack with clean water anddry with a clean cloth.NOTE: The oven shelves and convection roasting rackmay be cleaned in the self-cleaning oven. However, theshelves will darken in color, lose their luster andbecome hard to slide if cleaned during the self-cleaningcycle. You can wipe the shelf supports with cooking oilafter self-cleaning to make the shelves slide more easily.BE SURE ELECTRICAL POWER IS OFF AND ALL SURFACES ARE COOL BEFORE CLEANING ANYPART OF THE OVEN.Roasting rackOven shelfOffset shelf (27≤ models only)Lift the door straight up and off the hinges.The gasket is designed with a gap at the bottom to allow forproper air circulation.Do not rub or clean the door gasket—it has an extremely lowresistance to abrasion.If you notice the gasket becoming worn, frayed or damaged in anyway or if it has become displaced on the door, you should have itreplaced.Lift-offoven doorThe oven door is removable for cleaning.Do not lift the door by the handle.To remove the door, open it to the broil stopposition. Grasp firmly on each side and lift thedoor straight up and off the hinges.Do not place hands between the hinge and theoven door frame.To replace the door, make sure the hinges arein the broil stop position. Position the slots inthe bottom of the door squarely over the hingesand slowly lower it over both hinges.To clean the inside of the door:• Because the area inside the gasket is cleanedduring the self-clean cycle, you do not need toclean this by hand.• The area outside the gasket and the frontframe can be cleaned with a soap-filled steelwool or plastic pad, hot water and detergent.Rinse well with a vinegar and water solution.To clean the outside of the door:• Use soap and water to thoroughly clean thetop, sides and front of the oven door. Rinsewell. You may also use a glass cleaner to cleanthe glass on the outside of the door. Do not letwater drip into the vent openings.• Spillage of marinades, fruit juices, tomatosauces and basting materials containing acidsmay cause discoloration and should be wipedup immediately. When surface is cool, cleanand rinse.• Do not use oven cleaners, cleaning powders orharsh abrasives on the outside of the door.
