The EnerVista URSetup software interface is the preferred method to edit settings and view actual values because the computer monitor candisplay more information.The minimum system requirements for the EnerVista UR Setup software are as follows:• Pentium 4 (Core Duo recommended)• Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (Service Pack 3 recommended), Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008 Release 264-bit• 1 GB of RAM (2 GB recommended)• 500 MB free hard drive space (1 GB recommended)• 1024 x 768 display (1280 x 800 recommended)• Serial port• Ethernet port of the same type as one of the UR CPU ports or a LAN connection to the UR• Internet access or a DVD driveThe following qualified modems have been tested to be compliant with the F35 and the EnerVista UR Setup software:• US Robotics external 56K FaxModem 5686• US Robotics external Sportster 56K X2• PCTEL 2304WT V.92 MDC internal modem1.3.2 INSTALLATIONAfter ensuring that the requirements for using EnerVista UR Setup are met (previous section), install the EnerVista URSetup software from the GE EnerVista DVD. Or download the UR EnerVista software fromhttp://www.gedigitalenergy.com/multilin and install it.If you are upgrading from version 7.0 or 7.1 to 7.2 or later, some CPU modules require a new boot version. Update this firstin EnerVista under Maintenance > Update Firmware.To install the UR EnerVista software from the DVD:1. Insert the GE EnerVista DVD into the DVD drive of your computer.2. Click the Install Now button and follow the instructions.3. When installation is complete, start the EnerVista Launchpad application.4.
