Ifthe tank valves are closed,remove the key from the keyswitch and tag the machine toinform personnel of thecondition.How to Prime the Pum pHow to Prime the PumpComponent damage hazard. Besure that the hydraulic tankshutoff valves (if equipped) arein the open position beforepriming the pump. The enginemust not be started with thehydraulic tank shutoff valves inthe closed position orcomponent damage will occur.1 Connect a 0 to 600 psi / 0 to 40 bar pressuregauge to the diagnostic nipple on the drivepump.2 Continental models: If equipped, close thevalve on the LPG tank, then disconnect thehose from the tank. Move the fuel selecttoggle switch to the LPG position.Deutz and Perkins models: Disconnect theengine wiring harness from the fuel solenoidat the injector pump.3 Crank the engine with the starter motor for15 seconds, wait 15 seconds, then crank theengine an additional 15 seconds or until thepressure reaches 300 psi / 20.7 bar.4 Continental models: If equipped, connectthe LPG hose to the LPG tank and open thevalve on the tank.Deutz and Perkins models: Connect theengine wiring harness to the fuel solenoid.5 Start the engine from the ground controls andcheck for hydraulic leaks.
