Observe the pressure reading on thepressure gauge. Refer to Specifications,Manifold Component Specifications.4 Turn the machine off. Hold the secondaryboom down relief valve with a wrench andremove the cap (item E).5 Adjust the internal hex socket. Turn itclockwise to increase the pressure orcounterclockwise to decrease the pressure. Then install the relief valve cap.Tip-over hazard. Do not adjustthe relief valve higher thanspecified.6 Repeat steps 2 and 3 to confirm the reliefvalve pressure setting.7 Remove the pressure gauge. How to Adj ust the Primary Boom Ex tend R elief ValveHow to Adjust the Primary BoomExtend Relief ValveNote: Perform this procedure with the boom in thestowed position.1 Connect a 0 to 3000 psi / 0 to 200 barpressure gauge to the test port on the functionmanifold.2 Turn the key switch to ground control and pullout the red Emergency Stop button to the onposition.3 Move and hold the function enable toggleswitch to either side and move and hold theprimary boom extend/retract toggle switch inthe extend direction with the primary boomfully extended.
