Depending on the user'sexperience or the location in which the Actilino is being used (e.g. seminar room, commutertrain), these sounds may be inconvenient or even annoying. The Actilino therefore featuresvarious levels of sound outputs.The tone signal options are provided in the form of multiple checkboxes. These signal tonesettings apply only within work mode. In SAVE mode all signal tones are turned on.The various levels listed below come into effect after the Actilino's startup sound has beenplayed. Any errors or warnings during startup are generally of a more serious nature andwill therefore always be indicated. These 4 checkboxes are activated by default.5.1.12.11.1 (E)rrorsThe Actilino generates a tone only if an error has occurred. In addition to internal errors,errors can also result from operator mistakes, but these are usually not indicated by anymessage in Braille.5.1.12.11.2 (W)arningsThe Actilino generates a tone only in case of warnings.5.1.12.11.3 action (C)onfirmationsThe Actilino plays a sound signal if a complex action, such as opening a file in the Editor,has been successful.5.1.12.11.4 Battery warningIf the power supply of the battery reaches a critical value, the Actilino reminds you to saveyour data in time and recharge your battery every minute. If the capacity of the battery isknown by the Actilino, the alert will be played when the estimated runtime is less than 30minutes. Whether the battery capacity is known can be seen in the menu (I)nfo. If the batteryhas been removed and put in again, the capacity can only be determined after a batterycalibration. During the calibration, the battery has to be discharged and then rechargedagain in a long process.If the capacity of the battery is unknown, the alert will be played if the voltage of the batteryis less than 3.4 V.5.1.12.12 (D)ate and time formatAny settings specified here will affect the entire System, including the Editor. If you specifythe 12-hour format, the time will be displayed in the 12-hour format everywhere; otherwisethe 24-hour military time format will be used. Also, if English dates are specified, theinternational convention for date (month first, then day) and time will be used.
