English | 33Initial SettingsYou can select following Initial Setting items.1 Select the StandbyPressing the [SRC] button repeatedly switchessource.Select the “STANDBY” display.✍ SRC Select mode 2: Press the [SRC] button andthen turn the [VOL] knob. To determine theselected source, press the [VOL] knob.2 Enter Menu List modePress the [MENU] button.3 Enter Initial Setting modeTurn the [VOL] knob and press it when thedesired item is displayed.Select “Initial Settings”.4 Select the setting item to adjustTurn the [VOL] knob.Display Overview“Initial Settings”“SRC Select” Sets the source selection method.“Settings 1”/ “2”“Beep”* Setting the operation check sound (beep sound)ON/OFF.“OFF”/ “ON”“TAG Language” Selects the language for using on the display.(KDC-X8019BTL only)“English”/ “Arabic”/ “Persian”/ “Thai”“Menu Language” You can select the display language for theMenu list item. (KDC-X8019BTL only)“English”/ “Persian”“Chinese” Selects Chinese as the display language.(KDC-X8019BT only)“OFF”/ “ON”“Built in AUX” When this is set to ON, AUX source can beselected.“ON”: Allows AUX source to be selected. Usethis setting when the built-in AUX terminalis connected to the external equipment allthe time.“OFF”: Disable AUX source selection. Use thissetting when the built-in AUX terminal isnot used.“Forced CD-DA” Sets the CD read mode.“Settings 1”: Automatically distinguishesbetween audio file disc and music CD whenplaying disc.“Settings 2”: Forces playing as music CD.“Built in AMP” Selecting “OFF” turns off the built-in amplifier.Turning off the built-in amplifier improves thequality of the sound from Preout.“OFF”/ “ON”“Panel Beep”* Informs you by sound that you forgot to detachthe faceplate when ACC is set to OFF.“ON”/ “OFF”“DSI” DSI (Disabled System Indicator) of the unit blinkswhen the faceplate is removed.“ON”/ “OFF”“F/W Update” Updates the firmware. The update informationwill be posted on the following URL asnecessary.www.kenwood.com/cs/ce/( : Factory setting)* This setting cannot be made when the speaker system isconnected in the 3-way mode.5 Make a settingTurn the [VOL] knob to select a setting value,and then press the [VOL] knob.6 Exit Menu List modePress the [MENU] button for at least 1 second,and then press it again briefly.
