19 Function Reference (FUNC) Version: 1.01 USA7 TOT (TIME OUT TIMER)This function limits the continuous transmission time(TOT). Therefore, this function is used to prevent acertain user from occupying a channel for long time whensharing the same channel with other parties. The transmission automatically terminates when TKR-750/850/751/851 continues to transmit for more than theconfigured time and returns to the reception mode. TheWarning Alert Tone (Refer to 9 Tone.) beeps until the PTTsignal input is disabled. You can configure this function to the Repeater PTT, theExternal PTT, and the Local Mic PTT.Note: The TOT of the Repeater PTT/External PTT is different fromthe PTT of the Local Mic PTT. The TOT of the Local Mic PTTstarts counting down when the Local Mic PTT is pressedduring the repeat transmission. In this case, the TOT of theRepeater/External PTT resets. The TOT of the Repeater/External PTT resets even if the TOT reset Time of therepeater/external PTT is counting down since TKR-750/850/751/851 is transmitting.7.1 Repeater PTT or the ExternalPTTYou can configure the following functions relating to TOT.• Time Out TimerTime Out Timer is the count-down timer to limit thecontinuous transmission using the Repeater PTT orthe External PTT.
