58 Function Reference (FUNC) Version: 1.01 USA24 PC MODEPC Mode can be switched from the User Mode. In thismode, you can control the TKR-750/850/751/851 throughthe PC. You can read/write the program and adjustparameters by KPG-91D. (Refer to 1.5 Mode.)Data communication is made through the microphoneconnector (8-pin connector) located on the front paneland the control interface jack, which complies with theRS-232C standard (25-pin connector) located on the rearpanel. TKR-750/850/751/851 returns to User Modeautomatically after communication with PC. (Refer toTable 1-2 Assigning signals to 25-pin connector.)Figure 24-1 PC Mode configuration24.1 PC Programming ModeThis function allows you to write the configuration data, such as frequencies, to the flash memory or read the datafrom the memory with the ASCII characters andcommands transmitted from KPG-91D. The baud rate is9600 bps.! In this mode, you can make variousadjustments, such as checking the RF environment of thelocation and the adjustment of the reception frequency, before installing or operating the TKR-750/850/751/851. Itcan start a test without writing data since the encode/decode signalling and the test frequency are alreadymemorized. (Refer to 24.2.1 Test Signalling.)You can select the following functions.Table 24-1 PC Test Mode FunctionNote: The FAN runs operates when TKR-750/850/751/851 is inPC Test Mode.!
