4. OPERATION4-1. OPERATING CONTROLS4-1-1. Front PanelMR / M keyThis key is used to select the MR(Memory Recall) mode from the VFOmode or CALL channel mode. Thetuning control can then be used toselect the desired Memory channel.Pressing the key for longer than 1second will initiate memory channelscanning.To store data into memory press the Fkey and within 10 seconds press theMR/M key.MHz / LOCK keyThis key is used to tell themicroprocessor that you wish toincrease or decrease the operatingfrequency in 1 MHz increments.Press the F key and then theMHz/LOCK key within 10 seconds tolock the dial.VFO / MPV keyThis key is used to return to the VFO mode after operating inthe MR or CALL channel mode. Pressing this key will allow thetuning control and microphone UP/DWN keys to increase ordecrease the operating frequency.Press and hold the key for longer than 1 second to initiate VFOscan.Press the F key and then the VFO/M P V key within 10 secondsto move the memory or call channel data into the VFO.POWER switchThis switch is used to turn thepower on.
