If necessary, use the suppliedcable to modify the cable end of your GPS receiver orWeather Station.• In order to use the connected GPS receiver, access Menu602 (GPS PORT - INPUT) to select “GPS”, “WEATHER((Davis) )” or “WEATHER (PeetBros. )”.ADJUSTING THE INTERNAL CLOCKThis transceiver has a clock to manage information onwhen APRS packets are received. Use Menu Set-up tocorrect the current time, date, and if necessary the UTCoffset; UTC stands for Universal Time Coordinated.Note: The battery for the clock backup is built into the unit. Whenthe power source is connected, the battery begins to charge.
