APRS-SORT FUNCTIONThis function allows you to sort the station list according tothe call sign, date time, or distance.1 Display the station list.2 Press [SORT].• The sort type list appears on the display.3 Select a sort type.• “SORTING” appears on the display and sorting begins.CALLSIGN All call signs are compared andarranged in ascending order.DATE/TIMEAll received dates and times arecompared and arranged in descendingorder, with the last received messagelisted first.DISTANCEThe distance between the otherstation and My station when selectingthe sorting method is calculated, thencompared and arranged in ascendingorder, with the closest station listedfirst.4 The newly sorted station list appears on the display.• After sorting, when new station data is received, it is added tothe station list without resorting.FILTER FUNCTIONThis function allows you to select only the specified typesof data from the station list.1 Display the station list.2 Press [FILTER].• The filter type list appears on the display.3 Select a filter type.• “FILTERING” appears on the display and filtering begins.DIGIPEATER All icons are searched and those fordigipeaters are displayed.WEATHER All icons are searched and those forthe weather bureau are displayed.MOBILE All icons are searched and those formobile bureaus are displayed.OBJECT DTI information is verified and onlyobject bureaus are displayed.KENWOODDTI information is verified and onlyKenwood TH-D7, TM-D700, and TM-D710 bureaus are displayed.NAVITRAReceived data is verified and onlyNavitra bureaus are displayed,starting from $PNTS.FREQUENCY(QSY)The status list is searched and onlybureaus containing frequency (QSY)information are displayed.OTHERS Bureaus other than those listedabove are displayed.ALL(OFF) The filtering function is cancelled.4 The newly filtered station list appears on the display.• After the filter function is turned ON, received data is addedto the list but will on be displayed if it matches the filter typeselected.• For example, with the station list displayed and the filterselection set to “WEATHER”, all bureaus not relating toweather are no longer displayed. If mobile station data isreceived at this time, the new data will also not be displayedas long as the weather filter is active.• DTI (Data Type Identifier) is a 1 byte code which shows thepacket data classification.
