53 ENIn case of difficultyResetting the MicrocomputerThe microcomputer may malfunction (unit cannot be operated, orshows an erroneous display) if the power cord is unplugged whilethe power is ON, or due to some other external factor. If thishappens, execute the following procedure to reset themicrocomputer and return the unit to its normal operatingcondition.• Please note that resetting the microcomputer will clear the contentsof the memory and returns the unit to the state it was in when it leftthe factory.For the U.S.A. and CanadaUnplug the power cord from the wall outlet, then plug itback in while holding down the (POWER ON/STANDBY)key.For other countriesWith the power cord plugged in, turn the POWER ON/OFFkey OFF.
