Random Playback, Programmed Playback 41● Before you begin, press SELECT to put theTV/DVD in DVD mode.Then, press PLAY B orOPEN/CLOSE A to activate DVD mode.Random PlaybackYou may play Audio CD, JPEG or MP3 files in Random orderinstead of the order in which they are recorded (1,2,3...).1 While playback is stopped, press MODErepeatedly until the RANDOM screen appears.2 While the RANDOM screen appears, pressPLAY B. The tracks will play in random order. Afterall the tracks have played once, playback will stop.RANDOMCD-DARANDOM PROGRAM- - no indication - -TOTAL 0:45:55PLAY12Programmed PlaybackYou may determine the order in which Audio CD, MP3 orJPEG files will play. To set a program, follow these steps.1 While playback is stopped, press MODErepeatedly until the PROGRAM screenappears.3 Press PLAY B. The tracks will play once in the orderyou set.Turning off the TV/DVD or opening the disctray will erase the Program.You can start Program Playback only while in thePROGRAM screen.• You cannot use the Numberbuttons or SEARCH MODE toselect another track while playinga program. Use PREV j orNEXT i to select othertracks in the program.• You cannot combine RandomPlayback with ProgrammedPlayback.• You may play a program or atrack within a programrepeatedly. During ProgrammedPlayback, press REPEAT so ALL(all tracks in the program) orTRACK appears.The entireprogram or the current track willplay over and over.• You cannot alter a programduring playback.• A program can have a maximumof 99 tracks.• To erase all tracks in theprogram, select ALL CLEAR atstep 2.• Program/Random Playback ofMP3 or JPEG files is not availablewhile Dual Plauback is ON.132Helpful Hints2 Press ▲ or ▼ to select a track you want toplay, then press ENTER.Press CLEAR to erase the last track in the program ifyou make an error.Additional tracks may be on other screens. Press Lto go on to the next page, and press K to go back tothe previous page.Repeat this step until you have selected all the tracksyou wish to play in the program.To see tracks in a program when there are more thaneight tracks, use PREV j and NEXT i to see allthe tracks.For MP3 or JPEG folders, press s or B to go to theprevious or next level of folders.
