Ride Series and Response/LX Switch PanelBilge PumpThe bilge pump switch is used to activate the bilge pump so thatany excess water in the bilge area may be drained out. You shouldknow that the bilge pump has a sensor in the bilge area and willturn on automatically whenever 2 in. or more of water is detected.The bilge pump is wired directly to the battery. This circuit can beidentified by an inline fuse from the battery labeled “Auto BilgePower.”BlowerThis switch activates the blower for the engine compartment.The primary function of the blower is to eliminate any fumes inthe motor compartment prior to starting the engine and whileoperating below cruising speed.Gasoline Vapors Can Explode. The U.S. Coast Guardspecifies that the bilge blower must be operated for aminimum period of 4 minutes PRIOR to starting the engine toremove fuel fumes from the bilge area.
