To open,stand on the port side of the box near the observer seat,grasp the handle near the floor and pull open. Themotorbox is equipped with either one or two gas-filledshock absorbers (depending on model) to provide supportfor the compartment when opened.Running the engine with themotorbox open exposes rotatingmachinery which can cause injuryto occupants of the boat.Driver’s SeatThe driver’s seat can be adjusted forward and backward bypulling the lever located on front left side of the driver’sseat. Pull lever outward and adjust seat as needed.Lumbar SupportThe driver’s seat is equipped with a Lumbar Support. Toadjust, locate the twist knob located on the left side of theseat bottom. Turn the knob clockwise to increase lean backtension, or counterclockwise to decrease tension.Swivel Seat BaseSome models are also equipped with a swivel seatadjustment. To adjust the seat, release the lever directlybelow the front center of the driver’s seat. The seat shouldswivel freely. To reset the seat position, simply reversethese steps.
