- 7-Adjusting Earpiece VolumeThe volume keys located on the side of the phone can be usedto adjust the earpiece volume during a phone call. With a call inprogress, press < to increase or press > to decrease the ear-piece volume.Adjusting Keypad VolumeThe volume keys located on the side of the phone can be usedto adjust the keypad volume. With the phone in the standby state(no call in progress), press < to increase or > to decrease thekeypad volume.Accessing and Navigating MenusThe phone menus can be accessed by pressing the M key.By pressing M , the Main Menu is displayed. The contents ofmenus and submenus can be viewed by pressing E or B .See Chapter 3, “Menus” on page 9.Additional Menu Selection InformationFor several menu selections, additional usage infor-mation is provided to assist you with making theappropriate selection. These helpful usage tips areidentified with the marker shown on the left.Setting Ringer VolumeThe incoming call ringer volume can be set to one of five set-tings. Press M441 . The ring volume menu appearswith the currently selected ring volume setting flashing on thedisplay. The available settings are 1 for minimum, 2 for low, 3 formedium, 4 for high, and 5 for off (no ringer). Press the corre-sponding number for the desired ringer volume setting. Thephone rings your selection. Press N to save your selectionand exit the ring volume menu.Selecting Ringer TypeThe incoming call ringer alert can be set to one of four selec-tions. Press M442 . The ring type menu appearswith the currently selected ringer selection flashing on the dis-play. The available settings are 1, 2, 3, and 4. Press 1 , 2 ,3 , or 4 to hear the selected setting. The phone rings yourselection. Press N to save the selected setting and exit thering type menu.? |
